The RCD has organized projects in Poso Creek, such as the removal of fallen trees and limbs. During times of high flows in a heavy rain year, the district works in cooperation with water districts to assist adjacent land owners in averting extensive damage that may occur during flooding. The district has also worked with FEMA/CalOES to facilitate any emergency or permanent work that may take place.
